FAQ

Common Questions

How accurate are the fault code answers?
The built-in Mitsubishi Q Series fault code database is verified against official Mitsubishi documentation — those answers are highly accurate. For other platforms and open-ended questions, the AI gives thorough answers based on deep training data but we always recommend verifying safety-critical procedures against your official documentation before performing electrical work.
Does it work for our older Mitsubishi A Series machines?
Yes — the AI has knowledge of A Series PLCs including fault codes, GX Developer procedures, and common troubleshooting. The built-in RAG database is focused on Q Series, but the AI fallback covers A Series well for most common issues. If you have specific A Series machines we can add their fault codes to the built-in database on Enterprise plans.
Can our maintenance techs use it on their phones on the plant floor?
Yes — PLC Expert is a web app that works in any browser on any device. No installation, no app store download. A maintenance tech can pull it up on their phone, type the fault code, and have the fix procedure in front of them in seconds — right at the machine.
Can we add our own procedures and fault codes?
Yes — on Premium and Enterprise plans you can save your own proven procedures to the knowledge base. Enterprise plans also include the option to add machine-specific fault codes and procedures that are unique to your equipment. Contact us to discuss your specific needs.
Do you offer a free trial?
Yes — email hello@maxmeridianai.com and we'll set you up with a 14-day Standard trial at no cost. No credit card required. We want you to see the value before you commit.
